Description

The AI will be building its own pyramid of power in this variant, and has its own stash of gems and hand of cards. Basically, the AI copies everything you do (except for the bidding gem colour), from passing auctioning to placement of cards, to position of placed cards. So everything you do is mirrored by the AI.

It's up to you if you want to give it a player shield to hide its gems, or not (see Adjusting Difficulty section below). Having them visible to you means you can try to better predict what it is most likely to bid, which in some ways mitigates the random bid the AI makes.
