Description

YROBOT simulates a human opponent, with its own board and a grid to build by revealing cards.

The goal of the game is to have more points than the automa at the end of the game. The end of the game is triggered as per the base game:

• One or more players (human/bot) has reached 40 points;
• One or more players (human/bot) has recruited 9 Adventurers.

The automa applies the effects of the cards it plays as the human player and follows the same rules, with the following exceptions:

• The automa does not get the 5 initial coins, nor does it earn the 3 coins that would normally be obtained during the Income Phase;
• During the Draw Phase, the automa acts after the player by revealing a card from the deck and playing it in its grid without paying any cost.
• The order of placement always starts from the first card at the top left of the grid until the first row is formed, and then moves to the next row in the same way.
• At the end of the game the robot earns 1 victory point for each coin accumulated.

The automa benefits from all the effects of the cards played and the Link Bonuses in its grid.

In addition, the automa gains specific bonuses based on the Profession of the card it just played:

• Warrior: if played on the second row, it adds its Power to the value of the first row during the Combat Phase; if played on the first row, it adds its Cost to its Power.
• Merchant: the automa immediately gains 1 coin for each Merchant card on its grid (including the one just played).
• Technician: the automa immediately advances two steps on the Technology track.
• Explorer: if possible, the automa swaps two cards on its grid (one of the cards may also be the Explorer just played) to trigger a Link Bonus; otherwise, the automa immediately gains 2 victory points.
• Magician: the automa immediately advances two steps on the Magic track.
• Leader: the automa immediately draws and plays a second card, applying its effects.
