Description

In Rival Park you are competing with a dummy player collecting attractions at the end of each game round trying to get a high bonus for different attractions at the end of the game.

The AI also collects a bus and its meeples each round. There are some simply rules to determine when this will be happening and it is being tracked by cleverly using some of the artwork on the parking lot board. Even the colors of the balloons on that board are being used as if it has been made for this solo mode.

The same simple rules are being used to take tiles away from your options each turn like another player probably would do in a multiplayer game, keeping this solo variant very low-maintenance and low-upkeep as advertised by the designer.

Most of the game’s set-up and end-of-round flow is the same as a 2-player game but you will need a six-sided die (d6).

There is also an increased difficulty variant as well as a master difficulty mode.
